Roving fabric

The roving fabrics, made from E and ECR glass direct roving, can be manufactured in various grammages (220 g/m² - 1500 g/m²) with all kinds of bond types and grammage orientation.

Equipped with our approved sizing system, the roving fabric is used in thermosetting applications, for example with unsaturated polyester, epoxy and vinyl ester resins.
Properties
Manufactured from E-glass and ECR-glass Direktroving in the reinforcement directions:
  • Bidirectional (Balanced surface mass shares in warp and weft)
  • Unidirectional (weft- or warp-reinforced)
  • Preferred surface masses from 250 to 1010 g/m²
  • In widths from 6 to 340 cm
  • Even as bands with fixed selvage
