Our customers are free to choose whether it should be plied yarns or single yarns. The fluoropolymer content can be adjusted from 10% to over 20%. Depending on the applica on, PTFE can be used sintered or not sintered, without affec ng the characteris cs of the impregnated fibers. All our impregnated and sintered threads can be easily woven in warp and we� on standard weaving machines. Fabrics made from PD aitec®-coated glass fibers achieve fire class A2-s1, d0 according to EN 13501-1 and are therefore classified as non- combus ble. For use in public buildings and other objects, this is an essen al requirement for construc on supervision. The impregna on of the single thread results in a significantly be�er compa bility of the fabric surface with PTFE and fluoro-thermoplas cs, which in turn ensures an excellent coa ng and thus significantly increases the mechanical proper es and service life of the final product. PTFE-coated yarns can be combined with a wide variety ofmaterials, such as steel wire.
